Sorry this isn't the solution you were looking for, though there are literally tens of thousands of mods for GTA5 out there and finding support for smaller, independently made mods can often be difficult, if not impossible. With that in mind, there's plenty of mods to choose from you could possibly get for your son instead- but I'd make sure to check when the mods you look at were last updated as well as the most recent comments, as those'll generally give you a better idea of whether they're working/if people are having issues with them. Your best bet may be the comment section for the mod of the aforementioned site, unless the specific mod creator has their own Discord server/community for which they also may offer support in. So the more mods you have, the more likely you are to run into issues and the harder it is to diagnose which mod might be causing issues, if any. even if they are not, the vast majority of mods made for GTA5 (specifically, I'd only really recommend people get those kinds of mods from ) are made my independent modders/scripters/developers/whoever, who often create mods- maybe update once or twice, and then move on- often time dropping support for the mod in the process.Įven then, a lot of mods- when made- may be poorly optimized and not work well with other mods. To be honest, it could be several different things- but my main guess is, the latter mods you're using Shazam/Thor, may be outdated. The hammer is there and I can see the lightning around him, but there's no character. Installed that, but same thing, Thor is invisible. Then I realized I also need the Thor mod. I did that, but when I go to select the Shazam suit, the character is invisible. I also had to install this Addonpeds thing.
Next he wanted Shazam and that's given me huge trouble. He then wanted suits to go with it, so I got the Brightburn one randomly, and that worked fine. He doesn't play online.Īnyway, so he wanted the Superman mod which I installed with little trouble. My son just plays GTA as an open world game and likes to run around and do stuff. I just follow along with the instructions and if it's not working, Google for help. However, my teen son plays but doesn't really understand how to install mods, so I install them for him. I am a 40+ year old mom who does not play GTA, I really have no idea what I'm doing.
